The Botkins Board of Education met on November 10th for the regular board meeting and took the following actions:

• Approved the minutes of the October 13, 2021 regular board meeting

• Approved the Treasurer’s report by fund, general fund activity, the Investment Report, and the 5-year review of General Fund Activity as presented

• Approved the Then and Now Purchase Order as presented

• Approved the 5-year Forecast as presented

• Approved the Renewal of the membership in the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce

• Approved the disbursement of money for HOBY sponsorship

• Hired the following substitute teacher for the 2021-22 school year:

  • Josh Beard

• Approved unpaid maternity leave for Jill Kreitzer as presented.

• Accepted the following donations as presented: $1000 from Phyllis J. Serr Estate to be used for 2021 Scholarships, $660 from Koenig Equipment to be used for Rally Towels, and $500 from Botkins Community Foundation to be used for Talley Assembly.

• Approved the following volunteer as presented:

  • Mitch Goubeaux - Volunteer Boys' Basketball Coach

• Approved resolution to hire non-degree substitutes
