October 2019

The BOE met on October 10th for the regular board meeting and took the following actions:

• Approved the minutes of the September 11, 2019 Board of Education regular meeting.

• Approved the Treasurer's report by fund, general fund activity, the Investment report, and cash balance report as presented.

• Approved all Activity Accounts for the Botkins Local School District for the 2019-20 school year.

• Hired the following substitute teachers for the 2019-20 school year at a rate of $90 per day and established rates: Hope Ruhenkamp, Melinda Settlage, Beth Spicer and Cindi Eidson.

• Accepted the donation of $200 from the ABC's to be used for the COSI on Wheels.

• Adopted the changes to the Board Policies as presented.

• Adopted the following Resolution of Commendation: The General Livestock Judging Team placing 1st Place Overall at the Big E Livestock Judging Competition with Conner Smock placing 2nd, Ethan Aufderhaar placing 6th and Paul Buehler placing 8th overall individually.
