The Botkins Board of Education met on September 9th for the regular board meeting and took the following actions:

• Approved the minutes of the August 12, 2020 Board of Education regular meeting.

• Approved the Treasurer's report by fund, general fund activity, the Investment report, and cash balance report as presented.

• Approved the following Then and Now purchase order: Walsworth Publishing Co. for the 2021 yearbook in the amount of $3,803. 62.

• Approved the use of the Classroom Facility Maintenance Fund to pay for the repair of the elevator.

• Adopted appropriations for the Fiscal Year 2021. Also, approved an Amendment to the Certificate of Estimated Resources and fund establishment of fund 510 (CRF-Rural and Small Town Grant and Broadband Grant)

• Hired the following substitute teachers for the 2020-21 school year at a rate of $90 per day: Megan Brunswick, Jenna Collins, and Kendra Berryman.

• Hired the following student athletic works at minimum wage: Garrett Greve, Jayden Priddy, Jacob Pleiman, Brandt Boerger, Dylan Topp, Brady Steinke, Paige Doseck, Madison Wendel, Parker Geis, Emma Koenig, Makenna Maurer, Malanie Maurer, and Lauren Manger.

• Accepted the resignation of Margie Haehn, Musical Assistant Director, effective immediately.

• Hired the following extracurricular position per salary schedule for the 2020-21 school year: Patty Mack-Assistant Musical Director

• Adopted the changes to the Board Policy and Administrative Guideline as presented.
