The Botkins Board of Education met on September 8th for the regular board meeting and took the following actions:

• Approved the minutes of the August 11, 2021 regular board meeting

• Approved the Treasurer’s report by fund, general fund activity, the Investment Report, and the 5-year review of General Fund Activity as presented.

• Approved the Then and Now Purchase Order as presented.

• Approved Appropriations FY2021 as presented.

• Accepted the following donations as presented: $800 from Mark and Kathy Roggenkamp to be used for the Roggenkamp Scholarship, $130 anonymous donation to be used for the Track fund, $417 anonymous donation to be used for the Track fund, $280 from Meyer's Tavern 50/50 raffle for the Volleyball fund, $1120 from Botkins Athletic Boosters for the Volleyball fund, $4995 from Botkins Athletic Boosters for the Volleyball system, and $1200 from First Church of New Knoxville for the general fund.

• Hired the following substitute teachers for the 2021-22 school year:

• Accepted the resignation of Taylor Egbert - Track Assistant Coach (Throws Coach) as presented.

• Approved the following volunteer as presented:

  • Taylor Egbert - Volunteer Track Assistant
