The Botkins Board of Education met on February 14th for the regular board meeting and took the following actions:

• Approved the minutes of the January 10, 2024 regular board meeting

• Approved the Treasurer’s report by fund, general fund activity, the Investment Report, and the 5-year review of General Fund Activity as presented

• Approved the Then and Now Purchase Order as presented

• Approved book fees for the 2024-25 school year as presented

• Approved membership in OHSAA for the 2024-25 school year as presented

• Accepted $500 from an anonymous donor to be used for the cafeteria as presented

• Approved to change the May Board Meeting date to May 9th with a start time of 7:30 PM.

• Approved to hire the following personnel per the negotiated agreement/salary schedule as presented for the 2023-24 school year:

  • Sage Mueller – Varsity Girls’ Soccer Assistant Coach

  • Caleb Koch – 1/2 Varsity Baseball Assistant Coach

  • Derek Koenig – 1/2 Varsity Baseball Assistant Coach

  • Jeff McPheron – Substitute Bus Driver

  • Joe Shuga – Substitute Bus Driver
