The Botkins Board of Education met on February 11th for the regular board meeting and took the following actions:

• Approved the minutes of the January 14, 2026 reorganizational meeting and regular board meeting

• Approved the Treasurer’s report by fund, general fund activity, the Investment Report, and the 5-year review of General Fund Activity as presented

• Approved the Then and Now purchase order as presented

• Approved the 4-year forecast as presented

• Approved book fees for 2026-27 school year with no change to fees as presented

• Approved membership in OHSAA for grades 7-12 for the 2026-27 school year as presented

• Approved to accept the following donations as presented:

  • $1000 donation from First National Bank for scholarships

  • $2000 donation from Botkins Community Club for scholarships

  • $1500 anonymous donation to be used for softball

  • $2000 donation from youth league to be split between boys and girls basketball

  • $1000 donation from Greve Farms for Julius and Dorothy Greve Scholarship fund

• Denied the CRA Exemption as presented

• Approved Beynon to seal coat and spray the track and complete crack repairs as presented

• Approved to hire Lynn Pleiman as a tutor for the 2025-26 school year as presented

• Approved to move the March Board of Education meeting from March 11th to March 12th at 7:00 P.M. as presented
