The Botkins Board of Education met on January 12th for the regular board meeting and took the following actions:
Approved the minutes of the December 8, 2021 regular board meeting
Approved the Treasurer’s report by fund, general fund activity, the Investment Report, and the 5-year review of General Fund Activity as presented
Amended the Certificate and Appropriations as presented.
Entered Executive Session at 7:45 PM
Left Executive Session at 9:05 PM
Approved to set the cost of Drivers Education at $350 for Botkins students and $425 for Non-Botkins students for 2022-23 school year.
Approved to join OSBA for the calendar year 2022 at a rate of $3420.
Approved to join OSBA's Legal Assistance Fund (LAF) for the calendar year 2022 at a rate of $250.
Approved the calendar for the 2022-23 school year as presented.
Approved the Then and Now purchase order as presented.
Approved the Resolution to Refunding Bonds as presented.
Accepted the following donations as presented: $1000 from the Botkins Education Foundation to be used for the Fischbach Family fund, $2000 was received from the Botkins Community Club to be used for scholarships, and $705 from Meyer's Tavern to be used for the Volleyball fund.
Hired the following personnel for Athletic Ticket Taker for the 2021-22 school year:
