The Botkins Board of Education met on June 12th for the regular board meeting and took the following actions:

• DPIA and SWSF Plan and Report during recognition and hearing of the public

• Approved the minutes of the May 9, 2024 regular board meeting

• Approved the Treasurer’s report by fund, general fund activity, the Investment Report, and the 5-year review of General Fund Activity as presented

• Amended the Certificate and Appropriations as presented

• Approved Temporary Appropriations FY25 as presented

• Approved to set the substitute pay for the 2024-25 school year at $100 per day as presented

• Approved to set lunch and milk prices with no change and ala carte prices as presented for the 2024-2025 school year

  • Grades K-6 $2.40

  • Grades 7-12 $2.70

  • Adult $3.40

  • Milk $.50

• Accepted donations totalling $4505 for Destination Imagination from the following sponsors as presented: Meyer's Tavern, Charlene Hall, Mote Engineering, Shelby Co. Farm Bureau, St. Henry Tile Yard, Sugar Knoll Holsteins, ABCs, Huffer Chiropractic, Sip and Stream, John & Lori Mann, Precision Strip in Minster, Eria Baer, Elevation Chiropractic, Nancy Brown, and Lacal

• Adopted the resolution to approve a calamity day attendance plan for the 2024-25 school year as presented

• Approved to hire the following personnel as presented:

  • Devan Manger – ½ Varsity Assistant Boys Soccer Coach

  • Ryan Gutman – Varsity Boys Track Coach
