The Botkins Board of Education met on June 11th for the regular board meeting and took the following actions:

• Discussed the FY 25 Plan and Report for the Disadvantaged Pupil Impact Aid (DPIA) and Student Wellness and Success Funds (SWSF)

• Energy Optimizers presented on the LED lighting and electric Phase 3 upgrade and HVAC installation at the Botkins Athletic Complex

• Approved the minutes of the May 21, 2025 regular board meeting

• Approved the Treasurer’s report by fund, general fund activity, the Investment Report, and the 5-year review of General Fund Activity as presented

• Approved the Certificate and Appropriations as presented

• Approved the Then and Now purchase order as presented

• Approved Temporary Appropriations for FY25 as presented

• Approved to pay substitute teachers for the 2025-26 school year at $110 per day as presented

• Approved to set lunch and milk prices for the 2025-26 school year as presented (no change to ala carte items):

Adult at $3.75

• Approved to transfer $94.95 from the general fund to the cafeteria fund to cover the difference between the amount required to be charged for adult lunches and the amount actually charged as presented

• Approved the following donations as presented:

  • $616.13 from the Botkins Education Foundation to be used for the Muffins with Mom event

  • $146.00 from Meyer's Tavern to be used for the Boys Basketball fund

• Adopted a resolution to approve a calamity day attendance plan for the 2025-26 school year as presented

• Approved to hire the list of personnel as presented for the 2025-26 school year for supplemental contracts per the approved salary schedule

• Approved to hire the following substitutes for the 2025-26 school year as presented:

                     Ryan Gutman – Bus Driver

•      Approved to hire the following personnel as presented:

• Adopted the Athletic handbook for the 2025-26 school year as presented
