The BOE met on May 12th for the regular board meeting and took the following actions:
Approved the minutes of the April 13, 2021, regular board meeting.
Approved the Treasurer's report by fund, general fund activity, the Investment report, and cash balance report as presented.
Approved the amended 5-year forecast as presented by the Treasurer.
Approved a contract with Carol Riggle for the FY 2021 Modified Cash Basis/OCBOA Reports at a cost of $2000.
Entered executive session at 7:28 to consider the employment, appointment, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official.
Left executive session at 8:29.

Approved that Botkins Local School will not provide students in grades 7 & 8 with CTE for the 2021-22 school year and will apply for a CTE waiver.
Accepted donations from the following: $100 from Bornhorst Printing Co. to be used for Cole Field, Anonymous donation of $50 to be used for Cole Field, $1000 from First National Bank to be used for scholarships, $300 from Susan Schneider to be used for the Gary Schneider Memorial Scholarship, $176.50 from Kona Ice to be used for the Cross Country/Track Fund.
Approved the agreement with the Botkins Federation of Teachers for new contract language, salary, and benefits as presented.
Hired Brad Bergman as the 2020-21 Youth League Basketball Coordinator.
Approved the boys and girls basketball programs overnight trips to team camps during June 2021.
Granted a 1% increase to classified and administrative staff.
