The Botkins Board of Education met on May 21st for the regular board meeting and took the following actions:

• Approved the minutes of the April 9, 2025 regular board meeting

• Approved the Treasurer’s report by fund, general fund activity, the Investment Report, and the 5-year review of General Fund Activity as presented

• Approved the amended 5-year forecast as presented by the Treasurer

• Approved the Transfers/Advances as presented

• Approved the Certificate and Appropriations as presented

• Approved the Modified Cash Basis Contract as presented

• Approved the Then and Now purchase order as presented

• Approved to hire the following personnel as presented:

• Rescind Resolution #21 of February 12, 2025, BOE Meeting and adopt the ODEW special education model policies and procedures with modifications as presented

• Approved to hire the following bus drivers as presented:

                     Trevor Barhorst – Bus Driver 2025-2026 School Year

                     Jeremy Pleiman – Bus Driver 2025-2026 School Year

• Accepted the resignation of Brian Clay as custodian/bus driver effective May 23, 2025 as presented

• Approved to hire Andrew Puschel as Summer Tech Aide for the summer of 2025 as presented
