The Botkins Board of Education met on October 14th for the regular board meeting and took the following actions:

• Approved the minutes of the September 9, 2026 regular board meeting as presented

• Approved the Treasurer’s report by fund, general fund activity, the Investment Report and the 5-year Review as presented

• Approved the Then and Now purchase order as presented

• Approved all activity accounts for the Botkins Local School District for the 2026-27 school year as presented.

• Approved to hire the following substitute teachers for the 2026-27 school year at a rate of $120 per day as presented:

• Approved to hire Eric Topp as the Freshman Girls Basketball Coach for the 2026-27 school year as presented

• Approved the following volunteers for the 2026-27 school year as presented:

                   Lindsay Stechschulte – Volunteer Swim Coach

         Kaitlin Williams – Volunteer Swim Coach

         Sarah Lotz - High School Girls Basketball Coach

• Accepted the following donations as presented:

-$500 received from F.O.E. to be used for the Softball athletic fund

-$100 received from Topp Notch Photography to be used for the Cross Country athletic fund

-$100 received from Phil Topp to be used for the Cara Meyer Scholarship fund

-$137 received from Meyer's Tavern to be used for the Cross Country athletic fund

-$334 received from Meyer's Tavern to be used for the Botkins Golf athletic fund

• Approved a change order for the Lighting and HVAC BAC project as presented
